| Dry the net and fish with tissue paper. Dry away as much water as possible. This should take about 3 to 5 seconds. |

| Carefully drop the fish into the zeroed foam cup with water without touching the foam cup with the net. Care must be taken during this step to prevent fish from jumping out of the net while transfering. |

| The Scale should now read the weight of the fish. The weight of each fish is then written on the cups in which they are put in and in front of everyone to ensure transparency and fairness. |
